5 Week Salsa Intensive I. Workshop Starting February 21st, 2010 Description: If you want to develop a solid foundation so you have more confidence in your social dancing, come to our Salsa Intensive I. Workshop. This salsa foundation workshop is for committed Level 3- Intermediate and level 4- Advanced students and who want to focus on the foundation elements used in social Salsa dancing. We will teach you the core steps that are the base for many of the combinations out there, with some styling by introducing body movement and isolation (hips, rib cage, shoulders and arms). We will also be working on some spins, basic footwork shines, an introduction to ladies' and men's styling, and basic combinations with styling.

No partner necessary, no drop-ins allowed. Come and join us every Tuesday at Ryles Jazz Club, in Cambridge MA (212 Hampshire St, Cambridge MA) for beginner and intermediate salsa lessons followed by a hot night of dancing. Bring your dancing shoes, bring your friends, and leave all your worries at the door! The evening begins with beginner salsa lessons (no experience or partner required), followed by intermediate salsa lessons and then a night of dancing to the best salsa, bachata and merengue in town by DJ Hernan!
