Salsa in the Park is only 2 mondays away. Join us every Monday night dancing under the stars. We need your help though, lets make itlast the entire summer. Join us next wednesdays for a Hot Salsa Wednesdays at Ryles for the SITP benefit. All proceeds will help us to keep it open for the entire community, lessons by Metamovements. We will also be raffling ticket to the Bachata concert with Prince Royce at the House of Blues Boston, Sunday June 12.

Horton Technique This workshop utilizes special Horton Technique exercises to help dancers of all styles take their dancing to a higher level, while improving their posture, flexibility and strength. 3:15-5:00 pm Salsa Styling and Body Movement This workshop utilizes Cuban motion exercises to bring more sensuality to your movement, focusing on different details for male and female roles. Solo footwork skills and stylized choreographed combinations will be taught in different levels (Please Note: Beginner-Adv Beginner levels will be taught On1 and Intermediate- Advanced levels will be taught On2). Fuego Y Candela Salsa Social


Well, if you missed the May social let me tell you that it was an evening of great dancing and amazing music by DJ Walt. Now that our June Social is coming up, we thought it would be awesome to bring in another out-of-town DJ to liven up the Boston Salsa Community.

We are bringing in none other than DJ Mar Y Soul from NJ!! Not content with letting the boys have all the fun, DJ Mar Y Soul is one of the few Female Mambo DJs that can spin as hard, or harder than some of the big boys. She not only knows her stuff but has DJed in many worldwide Salsa Congresses and Events. We're excited to see what she can bring to Boston!

We invite all dancers in Boston to a night of hardcore tunes and even harder dancing. Like always, we promise to bring you a night of grooving and moving. Get ready for a night of dancing by dancers for dancers! Prepare for "Fuego Y Candela"!!!

Socials will now regularly be held on the first Saturday of every month unless stated otherwise. Runs 4 Wednesdays, June 1st – June 29th (no class on June 8th) $65.00 for whole session. The Technique class is for adult dancers with a little experience and is a great place to start if you are coming back to dance. The class will move through a warm up that builds strength and clarifies alignment principals followed by fluid phrases. In the Performance Workshop participants will get a chance to create collaboratively, connect with other dancers and explore the basic elements of dance.

Kelley Donovan's work has been named in the Top 10 performances of the Year by The New York Times, Boston Globe, The Boston Herald and The Boston Phoenix. She has performed work by Rozann Kraus, Liz Lerman and Ann Carlson and has taught dance at BCAE, MIT, Dance Complex and Umass Boston. Her choreography has been produced by World Music, MIT and The Cunningham Studio, Joyce SoHo, Movement Research and the 92nd St. Y in New York City. Kelley studied choreography with Mark Morris and Bessie Schönberg and other artists in Boston.
